Famous Russian pianist,Mikhail Voskresensky for more than 60 years intensively continues to give concerts around the world. The top prize winner of Schumann international piano competition, Riode Janeiro, Enescuin Bucharestand The First Van Cliburn competition, Voskresensky has captivated audience withhi selectrifying interpretations of the great piano literature of all styles. Borninthecity Berdyansk(Ukraine), Voskresensky graduated from Moscowc Cnservatory.His teachers were famous Lev Oborin(first prize winner of The First Chopin Competition in Warsaw), Ilia Klyachko, Jacob Milstein, Boris Zemliansky, and Leonid Roizman (organ). Voskresensky’scareerbeganfromperformanceofChopin’s2ndpiano concertoinWarsawwiththeBolshoitheatreorchestraunderthe batonofEugenySvetlanov.In1957heplayedEuropeanpremiereof ShostakovichSecondconcertoinPragueSpringFestivalatthe presenceofcomposerhimself,whogavehimbeforeseverallessons personally. VoskresenskyisthedistinguishedprofessorofMoscowTchaikovsky conservatory,headofchairofthepianofaculty.Since1992hisisalso guest professor of Toho Gakuen School in Tokyo.Hispupilswonmorethan120internationalprizes,including61goldmedals.BetweenthemVarvaraNepomniatschaya,Stanislav Igolinsky,TemirzhanErzhanov,YuryFavorin,AlexanderGuindin,AmirTebenikhin,SergeiKoudriakov,EvelinaVorontsova,Alexey Nabiulin, Mikhail Yanovitsky, Oleg Marshev, Sergey Neller, Alexey Kurbatov, Yuri Martynov and many others… He has adjudicated in many international competitions as well as Tchaikovsky and Scriabin (chairmen of jury)  competitions in Moscow.VoskresenskywasawardedthehighestartistictitleinRussia-PeopleArtistofRussia(1989),theJapaneseMedalof“theRisingSunand Gold Rays”, awarded him by the Emperor of Japan.In June of 2022 Voskresensky with his family left Russia as a protest against the war in Ukraine and immigrated in USA.HeimmediatelybecameindemandintheUSA.HeisinvitedtobevisitingprofessorinJuilliardSchool.Hisrecitalsin“LilacSeriesof concerts”inManhattan,atPianoTexasFestival,atNorthernLightMinnesotaFestival,atRowanUniversity,atEastmanSchooletc.had brilliant success.InJuly2023hegavemasterclassesandarecitalattheAspenFestivalinColorado.InthecomingseasonhegivesmasterclassesatYale University 9/28, at Curtis Institute 11/8, in Manhattan School in Boston Berkeley conservatory, at Indiana University etc. He was invited to be a member of jury at several American competitionsFollowing his performance on June 27, 2023 in Fort Worth, a critic wrote: « Apotheosis of superiority !
