Music Foundation in F is a premier, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of classical music. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and expanding globally, we bridge the gap between world-class artistry and community service.
We are a unique collective of high school musicians, supported by visionary adult professional mentors, working together to make music education and performance accessible to all.

About
Us
Founded in October 2022 as Ignite Music Society, we began with a simple mission: to bring classical music out of traditional concert halls and into the community. What started as a local initiative quickly grew into a Bay Area movement, reaching over 10,000 audience members through accessible outdoor performances.
In December 2025, we evolved into Foundation in F, reflecting our commitment to strength, future generations, and our Fremont roots. Today, through initiatives like the student-led Crescendo Collective, we extend our impact beyond the stage—offering free music education, serving hospitals and senior centers, and empowering young musicians to become community leaders, as we continue building a more inclusive and connected musical future.
