Our Identity: Where Passion Meets Purpose
Music Foundation in F is a premier, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of classical music. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and expanding globally, we bridge the gap between world-class artistry and community service.
We are a unique collective of high school musicians, supported by visionary adult professional mentors, working together to make music education and performance accessible to all.
Who We Are
Music is not just a performance; it is a bridge between hearts.
About
Us
Founded by Le Yu in October 2022, iGNITE Music Society began with a simple mission: to bring classical music beyond traditional concert halls and into the community. What started as a local initiative has grown into a Bay Area movement, reaching more than 10,000 audience members through accessible performances and community programs.
Each year, iGNITE invites renowned musicians to the Bay Area for special performances and community events, connecting world-class artistry with local audiences and inspiring the next generation through music.
In 2025, Chengry Hsien founded Foundation in F, a student chapter of iGNITE Music Society, to inspire young musicians through music, leadership, and community service.
Led by students, Foundation in F provides free music education and community performances, including monthly visits to senior centers and classical music programs at local libraries. Through these initiatives, young musicians share their talents, develop leadership skills, and use music to connect and serve the community.
